Content
MARALITHA is an independent music project, released under the NORTH OF SILENCE label. Music and visuals are created with AI-assisted tools, independently directed, arranged and mastered. All content on this website, including music, texts and images, remains the property of the artist and may not be reproduced without permission, except for short quotations with attribution to MARALITHA.
External links
This website links to the label website northofsilence.com and, on release pages, to the platforms where the music is available. Those sites are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy notices. Nothing from other services is embedded on this website.
Privacy
The person responsible for data processing on this website is the artist named above (contact: the e-mail address above or by post). This website is hosted on infrastructure operated by the artist. All data is stored and processed in Switzerland, on the artist’s own server. This notice follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for visitors in the EU, the GDPR. The website runs without analytics services, without tracking scripts and without cookies. Fonts, images and scripts are served from this domain only.
Release notification
If you sign up to be notified about the first release, the following is stored on the artist’s own server:
- the e-mail address you enter,
- the time of sign-up and the wording of the consent you gave,
- your IP address and browser identification at the time of sign-up (spam protection and proof of consent).
Your address is used for one purpose only: a single e-mail when the first MARALITHA release is out. It is not shared with anyone, not transferred to third-party services and not used for advertising. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in that e-mail or by writing to the address above; your address is then removed from the list. Addresses that have not received the release e-mail within twelve months are deleted.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, the following data is stored on the artist’s own server for the sole purpose of answering your message:
- the name and e-mail address you enter,
- your message,
- your IP address, browser identification and the time of sending (spam protection).
This data is not shared with anyone, not transferred to third-party services and not used for advertising. It is deleted once your request has been dealt with, at the latest after twelve months. The web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, requested address, time) for a short period to ensure operation and security.
When you write by e-mail, your address and your message are used only to answer you and are deleted once your request has been dealt with, unless they have to be kept for legal reasons.
Legal bases
- Server logs: legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Release notification: your consent given at sign-up (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time as described above.
- Contact form and e-mail: answering your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right to information about the data stored about you, to its correction or deletion, to restriction of processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Requests can be sent by e-mail, through the contact form or by post to the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
